Explore the city of utrecht
The routes take about 1.5 hours, and you can start exploring right away after purchasing. You can download the map directly to your phone’s Google Maps app using a link provided. The routes remain available indefinitely and are suitable for all ages. They are well-lit, making them suitable for evening walks.
You can choose from two routes: Utrecht Centrum East and Utrecht Centre West. Read more about the two routes below.

UTRECHT CENTER EAST ROUTE

This tour is on the eastern side of the city center. You’ll start on Mariaplaats and finish at Vaartsche Rijn Station (or vice versa). You can also do this route by bike (available for rent at the station). You’ll pass murals by artists like De Strakke Hand, De Verfdokter, Philipp Jordan, and Jos Peeters. A unique tour through beautiful streets and along sections of the Oudegracht canal.
Along the way, there are many lovely spots where you can stop for a bite to eat or a drink. Or bring your own food and relax at the wharf and enjoy the tranquility.
UTRECHT CENTER WEST ROUTE

This tour is on the western side of the city center. You’ll start at Neude square and make a circle. This route is for walking. You’ll see a lot of different murals by artists like De Strakke Hand, De Verfdokter, Philipp Jordan, and Jos Peeters. A unique tour through beautiful quiet streets and the trendy Voorstraat with lots of shops and restaurants.
Along the way, there are many lovely spots where you can stop for a bite to eat or a drink. Or bring your own food and drinks and take a break along the way.
